						Australian Art by Melba Gunjarrwanga Born in 1959, Melba began her artistic career in 1995 and works from the Maningrida Arts and Culture Centre. She works in fibre, painting , prints, and sculpture. Her themes include: Mythological beings, flora, fauna and utilitarian objects such as conical fish traps.
