Australian Aboriginal Artist Nabulla Scobie Naparulla Nabulla Scobie Naparulla was born in the Haasts Bluff area in 1933. Her brother was the acclaimed Turkey Tolson and her late husband was Johnnie Scobie Tjapanangka also an acclaimed early Papunya artist. Nabulla paints bush food stories and reflects her strong cultural beliefs. She is very active and encourages the younger people to learn about their culture. Nabulla now lives and paints in Mt. Leibig with her children and grandchildren. Nabulla's work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and collections of her work can be found in Australia and United States. Awards
