Doreen Payne Petyarre was born near Utopia in 1940.
She works with acrylic on canvas and she also does wood sculpture. Her themes are Honey Ant and Awelye- women's ceremony.
She has eight children several of whom are also painting.
Doreen's work is help in private collections.
